We both had a good day today. Nanny arrived yesterday afternoon, so Thomas has been busy and I've had a little more time. We had one of the packets of your frozen bolognese for dinner last night, and your mum was quite tickled with the idea that you'd managed to cook for us.
Today I read a few different people who said that the best way to get from JFK to the centre of Manhattan is to catch the train to Penn St and then get a taxi from there. Everyone said to avoid the shuttle buses. So I think we'll see how we're travelling when we arrive and choose between train and taxi, or just taxi. I actually think that after all of that sitting on the plane it might be better to walk around a bit on a train.
You mentioned that you bought a Metro Card so I assume that you've been on the subway. Not too confusing?
